A series of scholarships have been established for recently enrolled grade 10 students and current grade 10s, grade 11s and grade 12s of Changwai Bilingual School.

Through incentives, students with excellent academic performances can help set an example for students in CBS. These students can inspire other students to promote students' all-round development, and create a good campus learning atmosphere.

Basic Conditions
All high school students in CBS who meet the following requirements are eligible for a scholarship:
Possesses a strong sense of national pride, loves the school, abides by the law, abides by the student code and the relevant rules and regulations of the school, respects teachers and everyone in the school community, Has not received criticism or a disciplinary record;
Possesses good moral character, unites classmates, and actively participates in various activities of the school, without lengthy absence or late marks.
The purpose of learning is clear, studies diligently, works hard and obtains excellent grades. The scores of each subject should be above an A. Can play a leading and demonstrative role in the class, and has certain prestige amongst students.
Reward Standard
New Student Admission Scholarships
Grade 10 students who have taken the senior high school entrance examination and are currently enrolled to the high school are able to apply for the scholarship (see the following criteria for spring admission):
Students who have achieved the top scores at Changzhou Senior High School in the same year, will be rewarded the Principal Scholarship and tuition fees will be reduced by 300,000 RMB;
Students who have achieved the top admission scores of Changzhou Senior High School in the same year, will be rewarded an admission scholarship of 200,000 RMB.
Students who have achieved the top admission scores of Changzhou No. 1 Middle School in the same year will be rewarded with a scholarship of 100,000 RMB
Grade 10 students who have taken IELTS or TOEFL may apply for admission with the following options.
Students, who have reached an IELTS score of 7.5 or TOEFL score of 105 or above, can be awarded an admission scholarship of 200,000 RMB.
Students, who have reached an IELTS score of 7 or TOEFL score of 100 or above, can be awarded a scholarship for the admission scholarship of 100,000 RMB.
Grade 11 students who have taken IELTS, TOEFL or SAT/ACT may apply for admission with the following options:
Students, who have reached an IELTS score of 8 or TOEFL score of 110 or a SAT score of 1500 or above can be awarded an admission scholarship of 200,000 RMB.
Students who have reached and IELTS score of 7.5 or TOEFL score of 105 or a SAT score of 1400 or above can be awarded an admission scholarship of 200,000 RMB.
Term Scholarships
Outstanding student scholarship
The school will select students who have shown excellent role model qualities throughout the 1st term or 2nd term. The recipients of these scholarships for the "Excellent Student Models of the Year" are awarded 2,000 RMB or 1,000 RMB. Scholarships will be awarded at the beginning of the new school year.
English Language Scholarships
At the end of the first academic year grade 10 students who have an IELTS score of 7 points or a TOEFL score of 100 points, qualify for scholarships of 2,000 RMB.
At the end of the first academic year grade 11 students who have an IELTS score of 7.5 points or a TOEFL score of 105 points, qualify for scholarships of 2,000 RMB
Organization
The school has set up a scholarship selection committee, which consists of the principal's management team and the Student Development Center. The committee has an office, which is responsible for the evaluation and issuance of scholarships. The office is located in the Student Development Center and they are responsible for the selection of scholarships.
Review Procedure
New student Admission Scholarship: Students will be directly reimbursed for tuition fees based on relevant grades.
Process and stage scholarships:
The student submits a written application to the class teacher of the class at the end of each school year according to the selection criteria of the school scholarship.
Homeroom teacher passes the preliminary examination and report to the grade group for review. The grade group will select the winners of the grade-level scholarship according to the school scholarship program, and reports the results to the scholarship selection office.
After review by the scholarship selection office, the list will be publicized for one week in the whole school. After no objection, students will be required to fill out the "School Scholarship Application Form" and submit the list and related materials to the school scholarship selection office;
The school selection and selection work leading group will hold a selection and review work meeting, and the results of the selection will be publicized for three days throughout the school. Senior first-year scholarships are awarded at the beginning of the second year of high school; senior second-year scholarships are awarded at the beginning of the third year of high school; senior third-year scholarships are awarded before the end of high school graduation
Additional Terms
For those who have obtained a school scholarship, the school will also issue a certificate of honor, and the award will be included in university applications.
Students who have been subject to disciplinary action of the school or who have the following "good" in the middle of the school year may not participate in the selection of various scholarships.
In the process of judging the scholarship of the school, if any part of the application is found to be fraudulently falsified, all the scholarships will be recovered and the relevant responsible persons will be dealt with seriously according to relevant regulations.
The scholarship is from the CBS Education Development Foundation.
The program is implemented from the date of promulgation, and the right to interpret the contents of the program belongs to the principal's office.
