On the afternoon of September 1, Mr. Qiao Junjie, Director of the Management Committee of Changzhou National High-tech District and District Mayor of the People’s Government of Xinbei District, Ms. Wan Limei, Deputy Director of the Management Committee, and Ms. Chen Jiansheng, Deputy District Mayor, accompanied by leaders of the District Education Bureau, Health Bureau, Marketing Survillance & Administration Bureau, Longhutang Sub-district and other relevant departments, came to our school to inspect the opening of the school. CBS Principal Ms. Cao Hui and Executive Principal Ms. Nancy Lee led the school management team to accompany the whole process.

Mr. Qiao Junjie and his entourage took body temperature measurements at the school gate according to the admission procedure during the epidemic, and then inspected the primary and secondary sections accompanied by school leaders. Ms. Nancy briefed the school’s work on behalf of the school’s management team, focusing on the school’s considerable development and progress since it had been under external management for two years. Especially after the epidemic, the number of students in the school continued to grow steadily, including many elementary school students who returned to China due to the epidemic.

In the MYP department, Ms. Nancy introduced to Mr. Qiao Junjie and his entourage the whereabouts of recent outstanding graduates of our school. Especially this year, the school has achieved a double harvest in the United Kingdom and North America direction. 50% of the 2020 graduates in the UK direction were finally admitted to the top 10 universities in the UK, of which 2 students were formally admitted by the University of Cambridge; 100% of the students who apply for American universities were admitted to the top 40 universities in the United States, and 80% of the students were admitted to the top 30 universities. Afterwards, two student representatives from MYP also introduced the achievements and characteristics of the school's IB Interdisciplinary Learning to the leaders.

In the new semester, our school has made advance arrangements for the start of school in the fall of 2020. In the specific work links of school preparation and epidemic prevention and control, safety is the priority, the education and teaching work is orderly, and the spirit of teachers and students has been refreshed.
