In the 7th Changzhou Maker Competition for Primary and Secondary School Students, Steven Xu Ziqian, from Grade 9A, stood out from 58 groups of contestants through online presentations and  defense, and won the Third Prize in the 3D printing design and production group. Ms. Wendy got the Excellent Instructor Award.

The name of Steven's entry is called "Building in Red and Green", which fully demonstrates the characteristics of Chinese classical towers. Steven applies red as the main color and uses stone and wood as the main materials of the double-storey tower. The design of the hollow windows takes into account both beauty and practicality. The auspicious cloud design on the beam is the highlight.

Steven has a great interest in 3D modeling and design. In his spare time, he also launched a modeling learning club to teach peers who have common hobbies to use the software, which has been well received by everyone.

It is hoped that CBS students will make persistent efforts to actively participate in various scientific and technological activities, in order to enhance their practical ability and scientific inquiry ability, and further improve their scientific literacy.
