On January 14. 2022, CBS held the first transition workshop for parents in K1 and K2. Here at CBS, we have a transition programme between Foundation and Primary school. We take the transition very seriously and want our learners and parents to have a smooth transition to Primary. The transition from kindergarten to Primary is a big change not only for learners but also for parents. It is important as a learning community to not only give our learners voice and choice but to have it for the parents as well. Mr. Edgar the PYP Transition Coordinator setup the first Transition Workshop according to the needs of the parents which were attained via electronic survey. Ms Nancy Lee CBS Executive Principal , Ms Coco Yan the PYP Principal , Ms Sara the Vice Principal of PYP, Ms Joyce Li the Vice Head of Foundation and Mr.Edgar were all present and were the speakers of the workshop.

The parents got to learn about the PYP curriculum, environment, wellbeing policy, transition activities and had a Q & A session at the end with some afternoon tea. This is the first of several workshops/activities for our parents in our transition programme.
