Welcome to the resumption of classes!
2022.04.12

The quiet campus rejuvenates, the silent corridor sees familiar figures again, yes, the resumption of school comes as scheduled! A familiar greeting, a smiling face, it’s so nice everyone has been doing well since our last offline classes!

After four weeks of online learning, the students of Changwai Bilingual School returned to campus in April with high expectations. Some children grow taller, some of them have short hair now, some add a little maturity, everyone changes and comes back as a student!

Welcome to the resumption of classes! However, epidemic prevention and control must not be taken for granted. Early in the morning, the department leaders, teachers on duty, medical, security personnel rush to meet the arrival of students. Each grade is required to start school at different time. Students and their parents should wear masks all the time when they come to school. If their parents do not get out of the car, students should keep a distance of one meter, take their temperature and enter the campus in an orderly manner.

At 9:00 am, according to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the teachers and students of the department should have nucleic acid tests at designated time. Each class should go to the gymnasium of the Middle School department under the guidance of the Chinese and foreign homeroom teachers and check the information one by one.

On the first day, the Chinese and foreign homeroom teachers specially prepared for the first lessons. Teachers and students learnt about epidemic prevention steps together to enhance awareness and sense of responsibility.  Teachers and students reviewed how to wear masks correctly, practiced seven-step washing techniques and encouraged students to get vaccinated. Mental health is an important part of children's growth in primary school. In class, teachers guide students to actively adjust their state through interactive games, share interesting moments and create "circle of friends" to give praise. Enjoying the first class encourages students make a better transition from home study to campus life.

The flag-raising ceremony on Monday went ahead as planned. Although they could not line up to salute on the playground, the students still solemnly watched the five-star red flag and sang the national anthem "Volunteer March" online.

The lunch time meals have been separately provided in class to ensure that students can temporarily take off their masks in a relatively spacious space and enjoy the food. Despite the absence of whispers from neighbors, it is also the concern of all teachers, students and parents to eat every meal well. Although the epidemic is dangerous, we don’t have to get panicked.

Dear students, let's work together to overcome the virus together on our beautiful campus!
